For a motorcycle driving license in Berlin, you need a class A driving license in Germany. There are two categories, A 1 and A 2. The distinction between “limited” and “unlimited” that was valid in 2012 was made with the new categories from January 19th 2013 adjusted and changed. In our driving school in Berlin am Südstern you can of course acquire your driving license for a car or motorcycle in accordance with the new regulations.

Theoretical and practical driving school training is part of the acquisition of a driving license in Germany. Both end with an examination, but differ in content, type and duration. Class A1 means that you have to be at least 16 years old and can drive motorcycles with a displacement of up to 125ccm and an engine power of up to 11 KW. There is generally no kmh restriction on the maximum possible speed. Class A 2 requires a minimum age of 18 years and allows you to use motorcycles up to a power of 35 KW. For motorcycles or three-wheeled vehicles over 50ccm and more than 45 km / h you need a class A driving license. However, you must be at least 20 years old for this.

You can acquire the driving license for the mentioned motorcycle vehicle classes at our driving school here in Berlin Kreuzberg at any time.
